Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the game Lines Pop (the "Game") and its partners collect, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by Hlib Miklushys, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
1. Summary
- We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and the Game has no account or login.
- Your scores and settings stay on your device.
- The Game is free and shows ads. Our ad partners collect device information (such as the advertising ID) to show and measure ads. You can choose non-personalized ads at any time.
- The website at linespop.com shows ads with Google AdSense, and an optional account stores your username and scores for the leaderboard.
- We never sell your personal information.
2. Information stored only on your device
Best score, game settings (sound, music, ball style), your ad-privacy choice and whether you bought "Remove Ads" are saved on your device only. We cannot see them. Deleting the Game deletes them.
3. Information collected by our partners
The Game uses these third-party services, which collect information directly from your device under their own privacy policies:
| Partner | Purpose | Information |
|---|---|---|
| Unity LevelPlay (ironSource / Unity Technologies) and the ad networks it works with | Showing ads, measuring ads, preventing ad fraud | Advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system, language, approximate country (from IP), app version, ad interactions (views, clicks) |
| Google AdSense (Google LLC), on the website | Showing ads when a game ends, an optional video for an extra undo, measuring ads, preventing ad fraud | Cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, ad interactions (views, clicks) |
| Google Play (Google LLC) | Processing the "Remove Ads" purchase | Purchase details. We receive only a confirmation, never your payment information. |
| Unity Technologies | Running the game engine, in-app purchase services, crash and performance data | Device and app information, anonymous installation ID |
Partner policies: Unity / LevelPlay · Google · How Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalized ads at Google's ad settings. The list of ad networks used by LevelPlay is available at ironSource privacy.
Some partners may store and process information outside Canada (for example in the United States or the European Union), where it may be accessed by local authorities under local law.
4. Your ad choices (consent)
- When you first open the Game we ask whether ads may be personalized. Accept allows personalized ads; Only non-personalized ads means partners use your information only to show and measure ads, not to build an interest profile.
- You can change your choice any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Buying Remove Ads stops banner and between-game ads. Rewarded videos stay optional.
5. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the Game and information was collected, contact us and we will help remove it with our partners.
6. Why we use information
To run the Game, show ads that keep it free, process purchases, fix crashes and prevent fraud. We do not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.
7. Retention
The mobile game keeps scores and settings on your device. On the website, an account's username, password hash and scores stay on our server until you ask us to delete them. Ad partners keep information only as long as their policies state.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent, or ask that it be deleted. For a website account we can delete the username and scores ourselves. For information held by an ad partner, we will forward your request and help you complete it. Contact us at glib.miklushys@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information).
9. Person responsible for privacy

10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the Game.
